Exclusively at AK-Models.com   Extra 260 is a nice looking Electric 3D plane. Made entirely out of balsa and light ply, covered in monokote type heat shrink covering. Kit designed for brushless outrunner speed 400 motors. Complete hardware pack is included with the kit. Outstanding quality throughout construction and great covering job. Reviewer: carlsqu@msn.com  07/26/2009 Excellent kit. Landing gear should be beefed up a bit. If flying off grass field, remove the wheel pants & install 2" lite foam wheels. Very fast & aerobatic aircraft.
06/01/2009 Top hatch comes off easly and everything is right there. Only thing you need to do is beef up the gear mount. It's too easy to pull out otherwise. Remember this is a scale aerobatic model and flys as such.

01/08/2009 I have assembled and flown this model with the recommended motor but with a 2200mah battery. 10 minute flight times, very aerobatic. Smooth, very predictable!
